Varietals can have different profiles from different regions, or the Winemakers expression is different than others. Example: Sometimes when you try a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand you fall in love with the citrus notes and refreshing crispness. THEN, you try a Sauvignon Blanc from California and don’t get the same profile. This can happen with other varietals as well. So, let us help clear the confusion or at least help you understand why!
Rick Annis with Martin Scott Wines will be here on June 1st to guide us through three different varietals that often are misunderstood and will help us understand why there might be different expectations from different areas.
